18 companies have joined the initiative driven by Glòria Pérez-Salmerón.
The President of FESABID and IFLA’s President Elect has driven the creation of the FESABID Cluster, in which companies and other organisations from the information and documentation sector will work together for the sector and in favour of shared interests.
On the 15th of December, a Cluster was created. Currently, these are the companies that participate in it: Baratz, IE Library, Libranda, MasMedios, Odilo. Digibís, Greendata, Infobibliotecas, Nedap, Proquest, Scanbit, Servicio Móvil, Wolters Kluwer, Abana, Bibliodoc, Biblioteca de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Normadat and Vinfra.
The creation of the cluster represents a value proposition both for FESABID and Cluster members, who will develop new, joint research lines geared towards offering a better service to institutions, the professional collective and citizens. This synergy, carried out by public and private organisations, represents a milestone for FESABID and will no doubt lead to innovative results, elaborated from a wide organisational perspective.
